As from January 1, 2019, Environmental Protection Administration cooperates with Mandarin Airlines, the first airline business securing the carbon footprint label. The flight tickets from Songshan to Kinmen can be deducted with green points. Besides, the citizens visiting Wulin Farm, Kaohsiung Farm, Cingjing Farm, and Fushoushan Farm, owned by Veterans Affairs Council, can start to use the green points to deduct the consumption and accommodation fees. The green point collection continues to collaborate with the service of eco-hotels, environmental education facilities, and cherish food restaurants. The citizens can make use of the green points to enjoy the food, accommodation, transportation, education, and recreation of fashion and bring more varieties to the green life.
EPA has indicated that the green point collection has been encouraging the public to put into practice the green life and consumption. Take public transportation in winter (from December 1, 2018 to February 28, 2019) and enjoy the bonus of double green points. As from January 1, 2019, the adjustment has been made for public transportation that one point can be collected for paying 2NT. As for green consumption, 1NT of the product price can be exchanged for one point. On the weekends, ten-time points are given. It is hoped that the public will make the products with green marks and carbon footprint labels their priorities in purchasing the daily necessities. Besides, the channels to collect points include convenience stores, hypermarkets, 3C stores, and online shopping, for example, 7-ELEVEN, Hi-Life, E-Life Mall, A. Mart, Taisuco, and ET Mall.
EPA welcomes everyone to actively download the green point collection APP, join the membership, and license the e-ticketing or membership card, not only responding to green life but also enjoying more actual rewards.
