Get free admission to the 2018 Yilan Green Expo with green points

The 2018 Yilan Green Expo, which is located in the Dongshan Ecoark and the surrounding of Dongshan Train Station in Yilan, kicked off on the last day of March. For the first time ever, the Green Expo has partnered with the Green Point Reward Scheme launched by the Environmental Protection Administration last year. Holders of green point can enjoy a variety of promotions and discounts at the Green Expo.

Visitors may redeem 5,000 green points for one free admission into the Expo or get NTD100 dollar off when purchasing an unlimited pass.

There are three theme parks in the Green Expo, including the Experimental Elementary School of Agriculture, Earth Art, and Ecoark Area. The Green Expo upholds the vision to promote environmental education, ecological conservation, and eco-friendly production to the public. It is a place where family can enjoy their time while learning about how to live a cleaner and greener life.

This year’s Green Expo also hopes to inspire the idea of “taking actions to live a green life” to the public. And this year’s vision also goes along with that of the 2018 Earth day, which is to end plastic pollution. Visitors are asked to bring their own tableware to the parks as the Expo will not provide disposable products such as plastic carryout bags and straws.

In addition to redeeming green points for free passes, visitors who travel to the Green Expo by public transportation, including trains and freeway buses, can also enjoy free admission to the Expo. Please make sure to keep your train/bus ticket and show it at the information desk.

As for visitors who use Easy Card or iPass to take public transportation, you will also get free admission to the park while getting green points. Please ask for a ride receipt at the starting station and remember to show it at the information desk.

With a regular pass of Yilan Green Expo, visitors may also enjoy the following promotions:
