Year 2007 Green Life Exhibition

To make governmental agencies and public participate in green consumption, and to create opportunities of exchange information and technology of environmental preferable products, the EPA held Green Life Exhibition in year 2007 and made advertisements on the exhibition to introduce green consumption concept.

The Green Life Exhibition was held in Taipei World Trade Center started on July 26 until July 29, 2007. The exhibition opened daily from 9:00 am. to 5:00 p.m. It was free entry to the public. The exhibition topic was “waste reduction, recycling, and regeneration”. There were 4 major topics shown in the exhibition: “Restriction on Overpackaging”, “Restriction of Mercury Containing Battery Use”, “Garbage Mandatory Classification”, and “Environmental Scientific Park Promotion”. Regular motorcycle air pollution discharge exam, low-pollution vehicle introduction, tree plantation, carbon dioxide reduction, restriction of overpackaging, environmental preferable toys, and best environmental protective participant were the other exhibition topics presented. Environmental preferable toys and best environmental protective participant were made as propagation manual to environmental education instructor to teach children the concept of green consumption. There were 80,000 people presented in 4 days exhibition. Through this exhibition, green consumption.
