- This standard applies to both types of water cooler products (“product)”, including the volumetric compressor type specified in CNS12575 and centrifugal compressor type specified in CNS12812. The product shall specify the brand and model number of the compressor used in conjunction with the product.
- The measured “Energy Efficiency Ratio (EER)” (excluding error allowance) of the product shall be no less than the following:

- The product’s refrigerant and its manufacturing process shall not use substances controlled by the Montreal Protocol.
- The coating material used on the product shall not contain mercury or mercury containing compounds or mixed with any dyes containing lead, cadmium, haxavalent chromium or their metal oxide compounds. The product shall also not contain residual organic solvent.
- The EER value shall be clearly indicated on the product or its catalog.
- The name and address of the Green Mark user shall be clearly printed on the product or on the packaging material. For non-manufacturing Logo users, the manufacturer's name and address shall also be shown.
- The product or its packaging shall bear a label reading "Energy Saving and Low Pollution".
