Products Made from Agriculture Resources




  1. Products made from agriculture resources means products made from agriculture materials (for example rice, wheat or starches) or agriculture wastes (for example straws, husks, or waste residuals) generated from agriculture process (Note: product categories have to be individually recognized by the Green Mark Program Review Committee).
  2. The contents of recycled materials in the product shall be equal to or greater than 50%.
  3. The biodegradability of the product shall be equal to or higher than 50% when tested against ISO 14851, ISO 14852, or ISO 14855 standards.
  4. The product shall not contain toxic substances promulgated by the ROC-EPA.
  5. Products are considered to be the same if they differ only in size or volume.
  6. The name and address of the Green Mark user must be clearly printed on the product package. For non-manufacturing Logo users, the manufacturer's name and address shall also be shown.
  7. The package of the product shall also bear a label reading "Reuse of Resource ".

    Remarks:
      1. The purpose of this standard is to promote the use of agriculture materials in construction materials and consumer products, to replace products made from non-biodegradable materials.
      2. Corrugated carton used for packaging should be made from recycled pulp with at least 80% recycled paper content.
