| In the last half year of 2006, the “Public Enterprise and Group Green Procurement Participation” was started and there were 203 businesses participated. The total procurement amount is 99,925,188 dollars.

| ● Guiding the community to establish the green store |
The Jinhua Community in Tainan City established green consumption classroom in November 25, 2006, and it taught public to use green products. The community established “Green Consumption Classroom to promote various products including green mark labeled product, organic vegetables, green food, and establish jointly procurement mechanism. Green consumption and organic food are the concept taught in the classroom, the ecological protection and education are introduced to the community as the environmental education information exchange. |
| ● Guiding supermarket to establish green product selling point |
The Ilan Hsien proactively promotes the environmental protection concept to its citizens and entrusts Hsihuhua supermarket, the franchised supermarket in Ilan Hsien. The Ilan EPB produced green mark label post stand and placed in the entrance of the supermarket. The Ilan EPB also gives out free gift issued by the manufacturers, such action will make the public understands better of the green product, and start to purchase recyclable, low pollution, and energy saving green products. |
