The product is meant for the glow starter for fluorescent lamps with a power less than 40 watts. This starter can be further classified into traditional type and electronic type.
- Follow the endurance test procedures stated in the Chinese National Standards (CNS-No.1092), two starters are tested consecutively to start a new fluorescent lamp. The lamp shall be able lightened within 7 seconds and the outlook of the starter being tested shall not have any change.
- Products are considered to be the same if they differ only in size and package.
- The name and address of the Green Mark user must be clearly printed on the product or on the package. For non-manufacturing Logo users, the manufacturer's name and address shall also be shown.
- Product or package shall also bear a label reading "Prolongs the life of fluorescent tube and reduces waste".
Note:
- Corrugated carton used for packaging shall be made from at least 80% recycled paper.
- The starter case shall be marked with electrical source and range of voltage, as well as the wattage rate of tube.
